Twenty years ago we discovered Wisconsin Cheese for the first time.

On a drive through the Driftless Area we stumbled upon a tiny cheese factory. They produced only two cheeses. Both were World Champions!

We soon learned that Wisconsin wins more World and U.S. Championships than any other state. And, Wisconsin is the only place on Earth, other than Switzerland, that has Master Cheese Makers.

On our return home, we were surprised to find that our new favorite cheeses weren’t available in any local stores. 

We decided that it was our mission to introduce the country to the wonderful depth and breadth of fine, delicious Wisconsin Cheese.

We launched our Website in 2008.

Two years later, we found a little log cabin in a vineyard that could serve as a retail outlet in beautiful Door County Wisconsin. Annually, almost 3 million visitors come to our stunning little corner of the world. And, we’ve been able to spread the news of Wisconsin Cheese to all 50 states and over 40 countries.
