Raw Cow’s Milk
Farmstead-made in Clark County
Anyone who has ever encountered a stinging nettle while hiking or clearing brush will know that the only way to get back at them is to eat them.
Stinging Nettle is a very common weed that causes a burning itch when handled in its raw state. But, when the nettle is cooked, it gains anti-inflammatory properties making it useful for the treatment of arthritis. And, it’s delicious, especially when added to this award winning Gouda along with garlic, onion, onion, chives, celery and parsley.
A very “herby” cheese that stands alone but can also be used in your favorite dish.

We're really enjoying the Burning Nettle Gouda received earlier this week. To us, it tastes like a cheeseburger.
Both wedges arrived in near perfect shape. The shipping box, card describing the cheese purchase, and what to do if mold is present, are very well done.
